This useful tool is located in tool bar of Photoshop. It is very much compatible with brush tool. This tool is classified into three categories:-

1. Eraser Tool: The color from image background or pixel is erased with its help.
2. Background eraser tool: This tool is applicable for removing the background color from an image or layer.
3. Magic eraser tool: As its name apprises, it is an amazing tool that works on the drag of a mouse.

Three Modes can be used as brush, pencil, and block in this tool. This tool is essential for changing background from layer, for hair masking, deleting the unexpected color and many more. So let’s use this tool by following simple instructions.

(i) Click on eraser tool found in tool palette.
(ii) After this, the color for the background is pointed as desired by the user.
(iii)Next step is to select the mode from option bar. Any mode is fruitful for the user like brush or pencil can be selected.
(iv)Then click on the left column of snapshot in history panel for erasing the background.
(v) Just simple dragging of mouse over the area helps in removing that area.
